When I went to Sweden last year in August, I went to minister at quite a traditional church, at their Friday night youth. I did an activation with the teenagers where they had to get pictures from magazines and then ask Holy Spirit for a message. I was absolutely blown away at how the evening turned out, how deeply God ministered and even some salvations. That time, the pastor did not really even make an effort to speak to me. I experienced a bit of resistance from his side. When I was in Sweden now in April this year, I was invited to go there again and speak with the youth again. But this time I was also asked to preach and not just do an activity with a small group. So, the lady that translated for me both times, told me the following encouraging story. Turns out the pastor’s daughter was in my youth evening the first time, and he was so moved by the change he saw in her, that he started to change. He was very resistant to the moving of the Holy Spirit, but according to her, he has become much more open to the Spirit and even went to a conference about the Holy Spirit!!! Wow!! Sometimes we don't realise how our ministry can have a ripple effect! God did something in the daughter, that impacted the father and now the church is being impacted. Praise the Lord. When I was there now, the second time, the pastor actually came and sat down with me and we had a great conversation! Let's pray that the Holy Spirit will break out in all His beauty and power in that church

One day, I sent my mom a message like any other normal day. I specifically experienced to add ‘Thinking about you. Go with God’, that morning. About an hour later, a taxi bumped her! Where we would normally be very nervous and could have had so many negative emotions, she had peace and knew God was with her because she was thinking about the message I sent and how God is part of her life. She is fine now, has no injuries and she’s convinced that it’s because she went with God. It’s beautiful how God wants to show us His hand in everything, from the smallest to the biggest. I value life because He is in it and He is it.

Last Sunday morning, I read my day word and it said – “Prepare for battle, sword.” That morning at church, Ps Cornelis preached on why we do what we do, and continuously spoke about the Sword of the Spirit, and the Word being a sword. It was really encouraging, as the season I found myself in, was one in which I had to start standing up in authority and breakthrough
