Nicola was at Eunice School’s hockey the whole of last week. On Saturday morning, when we wanted to go and get lunch, she was craving for a kebab. Unfortunately, when it was our turn to be served, there were no kebabs left. She was very disappointed. Afterwards we went to the Father-and-Child Heart Connection on the farm, not knowing what lunch would be served. When we were seated, a whole kebab was served up for her and a whole kebab and a half for me! I could even share some of mine with her. Father God’s provision was so wonderful! He knew she would get her kebab on the farm – He knew that was what she wanted so much – He knew that was what she looked forward to, at the hockey already. Even though she couldn’t get it at the time she wanted it, He gave it to her a little while later on the farm at the crosses. What a wonderful testimony of how Father God provided in Nicola’s need!

While I was lying sick in bed, I heard a wheeze sound in my lungs when exhaling, and heard Johan’s name twice. I then asked Chloë if Johan is fine and she replied that he was quite sick over the weekend but is now better. It’s wonderful how our God can speak to us, even through a wheezing sound in our lungs.

I was busy preparing for a dance class that I teach and felt we should do some special facilitation even though we would probably have to take the whole lesson in preparation for the Eisteddfod dance coming up. I could not figure out what to do and was then reminded of my day word “Search for 5 distinctive traits”. I have 4 students and including myself, we are 5. I could then prepare a short facilitation where we all write a distinctive trait (which I called “something special”) about one another including ourselves. I could even tie it into the theme of the dance – we all are different, yet perfect that way and together we make a beautiful combination/symphony – by colour-coding each person’s papers so that the colours are each beautiful by themselves, yet even more beautiful when mixed together.
