I had an operation when I was young that affected my sight. And throughout school I struggled to see, read and write. This influenced my performance but I made it somehow by God’s grace. In my time here at Creare, God used this family at Creare and the church to bless me with glasses. For the first time I could see! We drove passed the church farm and I could see the crosses from far for the first time. Now worship during the church services makes sense because I can read the words on the projector, take part and not just listen. Praise God for His provision, but also for family that will stand with you when you need them.

While on the Kingdom Generation Camp, I was in charge of the younger groups program. Part of their program was to take a few walks on the farm to enjoy nature and spend time with God. The route we walked was on the gravel road, from the hall to the middle gate, close to the water crib where the horses come to drink. The first time we went, the horses were very far away and I noticed how disappointed the children were. Whenever we would walk, I would try and see if the horses were closer, but each time they were just too far way for the kids to actually see. On our second last day I prayed a quick prayer and asked God to please allow the horses to be at the crib when we are there. The last day of the camp arrived, and I decided to take the kids for a walk again, even though it wasn't on our program. My faith wasn't that strong, so I let the kids walk a slightly different route to avoid any disappointment. As we started walking back, I just experienced I must look at the crib... And not too far away I spotted the horses. Without telling the children, I guided them towards the horses and just told them to trust me, even though we are walking further. At first the kids moaned a little, but slowly the excitement grew, because they trusted me. It was so precious to see their faces when they saw the horses, and when they heard that I had asked God the day before, and that He organised it for us. I think I learnt so much more about God's love for us than what the kids did.

During the fourth week of our part time tours, we toured in Standerton. Our team had the opportunity to lead worship and one of the songs we sang was I Raise A Hallelujah from Bethel. One of the ladies had such severe anxiety that she couldn’t speak and while she was worshipping she got healed! God is the miracle worker and when we come to worship Him, His healing will manifest!
