One Monday afternoon, I went to refill bottles with purified water . When I got home and started offloading, the Holy Spirit spoke to me to leave one 5l bottle in the car, so I did. 4 days later, as I drove on the highway, 8km from our home, one of my water pipes leaked without me knowing, and my heat gage just shot up. So I immediately pulled off to discover no water in the water tank. Only then it made sense why I had to have a 51 water bottle in the boot. I was praising God and was filled with so much peace because I knew God was looking out for me, and enables me to make it home safely. I'm challenged to be attentive to the Holy Spirit more each day. 

In the busyness of everyday life with kids, it's easy to forget our main objective/mandate: Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it". Taleigha Amaya (now just over 1 year old) has tonsillitis. So she woke up feeling a bit miserable, crying, complaining, etc. I offered food, milk and toys, to no avail.

Then I heard Holy Spirit telling me to equip (train) her for life, instead of just handling the moment. So I told her that whenever her heart is overwhelmed, she should go to God. I picked her up, put on some music and just started worshiping. In no time she was back to being her old joyful, pleasant self.

Training them in the way they should go is not something that only happens in children's church; it's not something they are ever "too young" for. It's having open communication with Holy Spirit and spotting the everyday opportunities to direct them to Jesus.

On our way home (Cape area) we stopped at Beaufort West and 1 spoke to two young men there 1 told them about Jesus and what He has done for them and explained a bit about Father's heart for them. They then decided to accept Him as Lord of their lives for the ant time ever! I have faith that Holy Spirit, who is now in them, will minister to them. The next day I checked my day-word (realizing that I hadn't looked at it the day before) and it said: "Encourage two others." God had arranged an appointment for me with chose two and to His Glory, they came to know Him! I want to encourage you to check your day-words and be obedient. Hear from God and see what He has for you each day!
