As being part of the Children's Ministry team, I have been amazed at and encouraged by my dayword's guiding our themes and messages. At the end of the 1st term, we were discussing what the theme for the 2nd term should be, and my dayword scripture for the first Sunday of that term was in Acts. We then felt lead to facilitate major points from Acts, which mainly focused on the Holy Spirit. We set up our term plan, and a few weeks later heard Dr. Jonathan's prophecy about the importance of speaking in tongues, and we were ready to facilitate it with the children because of God's guidance in our planning. We had many children baptized in the Holy Spirit and receiving their tongues.

Once we came to the conclusion of the term, we experienced we should emphasize the body of Christ and how we can function in it as a community. We decided to make video episodes; firstly about the Body of Christ, secondly about Love being the greatest commandment, and lastly about community. Not only did I have a dayword in each week relating to the Episode we were making, but it was such a timely message for what our country was experiencing. Walking daily with God is so fulfilling and humbling. Who is like our God?

Last week Thursday, one of my close friends' grandfather had to go to the doctor to see if his cancer had spread. The Wednesday evening before, at 20:15, I felt God putting an urgency in my heart to pray for him, to intercede. I experienced the scripture 2 Chronicles 20:15 that speaks about the battle not belonging to us, but ultimately to God.

The following day he went to the doctor, and his cancer did not spread!

God was busy doing something in the spirit, breaking the works of the enemy, and wanted to include me as His child to help Him overcome the enemy.

God is always busy working and wants to include us in His work as His children - as co-workers with Him (as we see in Ephesians 2:10.) God wants to use you, just obey when He speaks to you.

The week before our holiday, our traveling plans had to change to stay safe from public transport. I prayed one morning and asked God if He could please make a plan for us. Later that day, I was really craving a nice cup of coffee! So, without the intention of asking, I just shared with God what was on my heart and that I wanted this cup of coffee.

I continued working and actually forgot what I had asked Him the morning. Later the day, a colleague asked what my plans were for the holiday. I explained the situation to her, and suddenly our other colleague said she was going the way I needed to go! Just there and then I realized this was the way God provided!

Not long after that, a friend of mine came walking into the office with a nice cup of takeaway coffee in his hand for me.

God did not only provide in the "big" things. He even came through in my heart's desire! God knows your heart's desire and wants to provide for you! Share your heart with Him! He cares!
