HAVE BREAKTHROUGH PRAISE AND WORSHIP?
- To minister unto God by aligning ourselves prophetically to God's purposes and to enhance unity within the body by establishing a corporate anointing
- To declare the glory of God before unbelievers (Ps 108:3)
- We surrender our heart to God; and we open up our lives to Him and open up to receive Him. (Neh 8:6, Ps 28:2, 63:4, 134:2, 1 Tim 2:8)
- To praise and honour Him; and applaud God's greatness
- Ps 47:1, 98:8, Is. 55:12
- Is a sign of freedom; and a physical expression of what is in the heart
- Ex 15:20, 2 Sam 6:14-23, Ps 149:3, Eccl 3:1 & 4, Jer. 31:13, Luke 15:25
- Flags are symbolic of victory; a proclamation (Ex 17:15; Ps 20:5; Song of Sol 2:4; Jn 12:32)
- To explain and teach the scriptures (Luke 24:27)
- "...faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ." NIV Rom 10:17; conception of faith must take place (Luke 8:11, 15; Heb 11:1)
- It is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:1-4, Mark 16:17, 1 Cor 12:10)
- "For if I pray in an [unknown] tongue, my spirit [by the Holy Spirit within me] prays, but my mind is unproductive [it bears no fruit and helps nobody]." Amplified Bible 1 Cor 14:14
- We are commanded to pray at all times in the Spirit (Eph 6:18, Ju 20)
- To grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ (2 Pet 3:18)
- Tithing was installed before the law was given (Gen 14:18-20, Heb 7:1-21)
- Tithes are not seed, but offering is (Mal 3:8-12, Prov. 3:9-10, Deut 26:2-4)
- Tithes belong to God
- To get to know other believers
- To motivate and encourage one another to grow spiritually and in the gifts and to become mature in Christ. "When you meet together, each one has a hymn, a teaching, a disclosure of special knowledge or information, an utterance in a [strange] tongue, or an interpretation of it..." Amplified Bible 1 Cor 14:26
- It is a place to be disciplined, to be vulnerable and to be accountable (Acts 2:44-47)
- To make disciples of all nations (Rev 28:18)
- "...a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne of the Lamb..." NIV Rev 7:9 (Is 66:18)
- It is a testimony of being baptized in Christ and a pledge unto God for a clear conscience. (Acts 2:38, 40-41; 1 Pet. 3:20-21; Mt 28:19-20)
- After repentance (Acts 2), believing (Mk 16) and becoming a disciple (Mt 28), baptism is an act of obedience

- We must do everything as to the Lord and not to men (Eph 6:6-8)
