Sport and Recreation Initiatives

Our Father's Home church and Creare International Training Centre sport's initiatives have grown considerably in the past year. One area where it's has been growing and successful is in the soccer. OFH/CTC Soccer have got a team that trains every Tuesday and Thursday from 17h00-19h00 and the grassroots age group (7-13) has started on Friday's between 4-5pm.

The OFH team consists of members from the community, university, Creare and the church and has developed into a full team that's producing great results and improvement. Each match we play the team unity and strength grows, practices are productive and an awesome atmosphere for the guys to relax and be themselves as morals, character and teamwork are developed. Results for the previous 3 matches:

FARM DEVELOPMENTS

Ladies and gentlemen-WATER!!!! Yes we have found water on the farm and lot's of it 30,000L/h. There is a cell phone video below of the first moments as the water came forth.

CAMPS, HORSES AND SPORT AND RECREATION

There have been multiple one day camps already on the farm from schools to leadership and Christian leaders and now with the showers and toilet available we can accommodate camps that can run over a whole weekend!

The horse ring has been completed and is functioning well as a training circle for the horses and a safe and controlled area for all the camp goers to get a chance to have the experience of being on a horse. Thank you to all who dug, chopped, cut, drilled, welded and grinded to make this possible and to top it all off, one of the mares has recently given birth to a beautiful, healthy and playful filly foal.

The plans to develop a part of the farm for sports and recreation are underway. In the future we will have sport fields (soccer, rugby, volleyball) and recreation areas (high ropes, wall climbing, horse riding, paintball etc.)So we can enjoy the active and fun parts of life while serving Christ. The braai area is fully functional; keep an eye on our upcoming events to see when you can join us for a lekker SA braai.

Home for a Heart Productions

Firstly, following the success of Legacy worship's "Son's of God" and Pastor Cornelis .v. Heyningen's "In the Stillness" CD launches Home for a Heart Productions take on their next challenge. The "Home for a Heart" soapie. The first episode was filmed over 2 days, Friday the 21st and Saturday the 22nd of January 2011.The crew had very little time to prepare and shoot but manage to get it done within 3 hrs with the help of prayer and full focus which lead to the crew working very well together and having some inspirational moments to make the production look awesome. For the first time actors "Good job" and well done on your lines even thou you had 10minutes to learn them. This is an exciting step towards the future for this area within the production house. In the world but not of the world carrying an awesome Christian message.

Secondly. The other project that is running is the "Blood Speaks" movie preparation. We not going to share to much of the movie as we still in Pre-Production and gathering information to make this film on reconciliation and forgiveness with the power of Christ blood as accurate as possible. Sermon videos

Yes! Now is the time. We are recording our evening services that start @ 17h00 on Sunday night's. They are available to watch or download from YouTube, Godtube or Vimeo. Go ahead and subscribe to the channel "Our Father's Home Church" on any of the previously mentioned sites, you will then receive a notice whenever we have uploaded our videos so you may watch them. Our sermons are also have audio recordings of the sermons and uploaded in MP3 format to the OFH site. Click on "sermons" from the home page and get them via listening or download.

As from the 10th of April 2011 we have a live broadcast of the 17h00-19h00 Sunday services on livestream. Please join us if you are unable to be in the church service.
